Ayurvedic Manual Therapy

Ayurveda, the science of life

This course contains two parts: an introduction to the principles

of ayurveda and ayurveda body techniques. We study the basics

of ayurveda to understand ayurvedic reasoning when faced with

the imbalance (or not) of the client; and we learn, according to

the chosen program, the manual techniques of massage
abhyanga (whole body), shiro-abhyanga (head-neck-shoulders)
and marma points (ayurvedic acupressure).

In more detail...

You will understand the basic elements (doshas, dhātus, agni, āma, mala), know how to recognize the different constitutions, the criteria for assessing imbalance, the oils and their properties, preparatory massage, the location of marma points and protocols adapted to different conditions.
